In 2014 Rachel brought Moneypenny’s unique approach to people development to a whole new cohort with the establishment of WeMindTheGap. This charity gives new opportunities in life and work to unemployed under-served young women through providing totally holistic paid trainee-ships.
Rachel’s mantras of ‘always treat others as you would like to be treated yourself’, ‘think big and act small’ and ‘recruit for attitude’ are proving as successful in her approach to building an important charity as they have been in building an award-winning business.
Moneypenny is the global leader in telephone answering and outsourced switchboard services, with offices in the US as well as the UK.
The new 100,000 sq.ft award-winning HQ – is known as ‘the happiest office in the land’ – and the company is listed the Top 5 of ‘100 Best Companies to Work For in the UK’.
