DESCRIPTION:\nDowntown in Business, in partnership with the Northern Power Towns group, will host a half-day conference on Friday 12th July 2024, at the Engine Rooms, Birchwood Park, Warrington, 9.30am-1.30pm.\n\n\nLeaders, chief executives, and senior decision makers from a range of Northern Power Towns local authorities will be in attendance, alongside private sector partners and keynote speakers.\n\n\nTopic:\n\n\nDiscussion and debate of the opportunities and potential of our regional towns.\n\n\nThis unique conference event will bring together engaged partners across the Northwest to discuss how effective public and private partnership working can address local and regional challenges, about how we can work together to make improvements for our communities.\n\n\nThe event will discuss methods of advocating of collaboration and partnership, and focus on how, by working closely together, in genuine partnership, the private and public sectors can drive the regional economy forward.\n\n\nNetworking and Discussion:\n\n\nAs well as panel talks from guest speakers, the floor will also be opened up later in the conference for a stimulating discussion with a number of leaders from across the region.\n\n\nAbout the Northern Power Towns Group:\n\n\nThe Northern Power Towns group was launched in September 2016 as the leading voice of business and civic leaders across the North. It is a partnership between public and private sector partners, including councils, businesses, and community organisations.
