The leader-elect of Manchester City Council Bev Craig, shadow education minister Kate Green MP, and the shadow minister for child poverty Wes Streeting MP will be meeting with Downtown in Business members at two events in Manchester next week.

The politicians will be discussing how business can support initiatives that can help young people into work, and explore how initiatives such as the Kickstart programme, the apprenticeship levy, and graduate placements have developed in recent months – and more importantly what can be done in future to ensure that kids have the necessary skills for the increasing number of vacancies that are available in the job market.

The events are open to DIB 100 Club members only.
