Q61, the Yorkshire-based, fashion-led beauty business, is celebrating after its Leeds city-centre salon was named a finalist in the Nail Team of the Year category at the Scratch Stars Awards 2019.

The annual awards, presented by leading industry publication, Scratch Magazine, are now in their 8th year and recognise and reward outstanding talent within the professional nail industry. The category of Nail Team of the Year 2019 aims to celebrate where the team is the backbone of the business.

Q61 fought off strong competition to be named as one of only 5 finalists from across the UK in this highly contested category. In the next stage of the competition, the expert judging panel will examine each finalist’s dossier of information and decide who should be crowned Nail Team of the Year 2019.

Founded in November 2015 by husband and wife team, Michael and Helena Linsky, Q61 has two customer-centric salons; in addition to its Leeds city centre location, the duo opened a second 2,600 square-foot salon in central Harrogate in November 2018 and have quickly grown to a combined team of 23 staff members, with their talented therapists offering an inspired service menu of spa, beauty and nail treatments.

Said Michael and Helena Linsky: “We’re delighted to have been named as a finalist in the Scratch Stars Awards 2019.

“We have a fantastic team of 15 therapists in our Leeds salon, who all work incredibly hard to sustain and grow the quality of the Q61 brand, each one dedicated to raising the bar when it comes to looking after the needs of our loyal clientele. We are so excited and cannot wait for the awards ceremony.”

All the finalists will be invited to attend the Scratch Summer Party at top London venue, PROUD, Embankment on Sunday 21st July with the Scratch Stars Awards winners in 18 categories revealed by celebrity host, Rylan Clark-Neal.
