Downtown in Business hosted its annual City of Liverpool Business Awards gala dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Thursday 7th October 2021.
A sell-out crowd of 400 people came together for the event, sponsored by Sedulo Group, to celebrate the success of the city’s most successful companies and entrepreneurs.
The big winners on the night were The Davies Partnership, who won the Business of the Year Award, entrepreneurial duo Charlotte Donoghue & Steph Porter from Say It With Diamonds, who took the Women of the Year prize, and Lu Bans David Critchley, who won Business Hero of the Year.
Faye Dyer of the ACC Arena was handed the Chairman’s Awards, whilst Downtown boss Frank McKenna handed his chief executives award to Sean Keyes, Managing Director of Sutcliffe.
Mr. McKenna said:
“It was great to see a packed room in Liverpool once again, and also encouraging to have so many businesses attend who have clearly not only survived but thrived despite the huge challenges of the past eighteen months.”
