Krol Corlett has renewed — and significantly expanded — its partnership with Downtown in Business (DIB), deepening a long-standing relationship between two organisations that have consistently championed growth, collaboration, and high-quality development across the UK.

The strengthened agreement will see Krol Corlett step into an even more prominent role within DIB’s national programme throughout 2026, with an enhanced focus on major property and regeneration showcases including MIPIM in Cannes and UKREiiF in Leeds. The move reflects both the growth of the construction firm and its ambition to be at the forefront of conversations shaping the future of the built environment.

The upgraded partnership package will deliver wider engagement with investors, developers, and public-sector leaders across the North West, West Midlands, and beyond — positioning Krol Corlett at the heart of strategic debates, regeneration pipelines, and the practical delivery of projects that drive economic impact.

Simon Krol, Director at Krol Corlett, said:

“We’ve worked with Downtown in Business for several years, and strengthening our partnership feels like a very natural next step. Their network, their influence, and their ability to connect businesses with real decision-makers is unmatched. As we continue to grow, we want to play a bigger role in shaping and delivering regeneration across the UK. With MIPIM and UKREiiF ahead, there’s no better time to expand our voice, build new partnerships, and turn conversations into projects.”

Krol Corlett Managing Director Dan Tebay added:

“The opportunity for us to raise awareness of the great work we do to a much wider network, and to be at the heart of conversations and debates about place making, economic growth and regeneration, is hugely important for us. We are particularly looking forward to making our ‘debut’ at MIPIM in March.”

The enhanced partnership will include:

  • A bigger presence at MIPIM 2026, with Krol Corlett participating in VIP dinners, private leadership conversations, investment roundtables, and curated introductions to public-sector and development partners focused on unlocking new opportunities.
  • A strengthened role at UKREiiF 2026, including participation in panel sessions, networking receptions, and targeted engagement with regional and national regeneration leaders.
  • Year-round influence, with access to senior stakeholders across Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, and the wider DIB network.
  • Involvement in the DIB Northern Power Towns campaign supporting place-led growth and long-term regional investment

Frank McKenna, Chief Executive of Downtown in Business, commented:

“Simon, Dan and the team at Krol Corlett have been great partners for many years, and this enhanced agreement is a real statement of intent. They are a company that delivers, that invests in relationships, and that wants to play a bigger role in the future of our towns and cities. We’re delighted to step things up together. With MIPIM, UKREiiF, and our national events programme, we’ll make sure Krol Corlett are firmly positioned at the centre of the built-environment agenda.”

The expanded partnership comes into effect immediately, with preparations for MIPIM 2026 already underway and a full programme of activity scheduled across the year.
