Birmingham content marketing agency, HDY Agency, has partnered with Pride House Birmingham to support its mission of creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for LGBTIQ+ spectators, athletes and staff at Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Pride House Birmingham will provide a full programme of entertainment, activities and exhibitions before and during the Games, drawing on the best talent from across the region. The venue will house multiple rooms to watch the Games, which includes a bar, a dry space, exhibition area and chill out zones.
HDY Agency was chosen as the organisation’s core content partner to capture the journey to the Commonwealth Games. The Digbeth-based content marketing agency also recently sponsored Coventry Pride 2021 as part of its commitment to give back to the regional LGBTIQ+ community.
Angel Gaskell, co-founder of HDY Agency, said: “We’re proud of our city. Everybody – regardless of sexuality or background – should feel welcome to enjoy this monumental moment in Birmingham history without fear or judgement.
“We’re proud to be working with Pride House Birmingham to help promote and shout about the wonderful work the organisation is doing for the diverse community in Birmingham and beyond.”
Piero Zizzi, co-founder of Pride House Birmingham, said: “Pride House will sit right in the heart of Birmingham’s LGBTIQ+ community, which will also be the centre of the Commonwealth Games action come next year.
“We’re proud to be working closely with the team at HDY Agency – a partner that shares so many of our organisation’s values including diversity, inclusion and providing safe spaces for people to be their authentic selves. With their creative thinking and their passion for the community, we wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.”
