Business Leaders gather in Birmingham to mark the publication of ‘The Enabling Manager’

Business leaders from across Birmingham gathered at Gusto Italian Restaurant on Colmore Row for the launch of “The Enabling Manager: How to get the best out of your team”.

Last Friday saw leaders from businesses around Birmingham gather at Gusto Italian Restaurant on Colmore Row. The event hosted by Growhouse marked the publication of “The Enabling Manager: How to get the best out of your team”.

Attendees were part of lively interactive presentations from lead author Myles Downey and Growhouse’s own Ian Harrison. Together they set out the need to move from a command-and-control approach to one in which the manager’s role is to align their team to the objectives of the business and enable each team member to bring their own insight, and expertise to the work of achieving them.

The afternoon closed with a Q&A chaired by Dee Kundi (#AskDee) and time to network over delicious canapes and A glass of fizz.

The Enabling Manager is available from Amazon and this Autumn Ian and Myles will be running an open program exploring the skills outlined in the book. Find out more at www.Growhouse-gb.com/tem
