Footie Fest at Touchwood

During the May half term, football fanatics are invited down to Touchwood for ‘Footie Fest’ – a week-long programme of activities in partnership with the Solihull Moors Foundation.

The event in Theatre Square allows children to test their football skills in a wide range of challenges, to see if they are up to the task of becoming a professional footballer.

Five challenges will be set in total with various attributes tested along the way, including shooting, dribbling and speed. When all the challenges are completed, children will receive an overall score, with the best performers earning some exciting prizes as a result of their hard work.

Over the course of the summer, sporting celebrations will continue at Touchwood – with elite competitions such as the 2024 Paris Olympics, the European Championships and the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament just a selection of events jammed into a packed calendar. To celebrate the array of sporting events during this period, Touchwood will be hosting a number of sport-related activities for shoppers to join in the action.
