One of the UK’s fastest-growing business advisory firms, Sedulo Group, has strengthened its national leadership team with the appointment of Simon O’Brien as Managing Partner for its Birmingham office.
The move marks a major step in Sedulo’s UK-wide growth strategy, following the launch of its Midlands base earlier this year and forming part of its plan to double in size over the next three years.
Based at Sedulo’s new Metro Club on Colmore Row, Simon will lead the firm’s Birmingham operations and play a central role in expanding Sedulo’s footprint across the UK’s key business hubs in London and Leeds in particular.
Simon joins from PwC, where he spent 25 years, including five years on the Mid-Tier Leadership Team, advising entrepreneurial, private equity-backed, and listed businesses across the UK and internationally. His experience spans audit, due diligence, and capital market projects, including IPOs, and he is widely recognised for building long-term, trusted client relationships across multiple sectors.

Sedulo’s Birmingham office, located within the Grade II-listed Cornwall Buildings, opened in June 2025. The site is a reimagining of the city’s iconic Metro Bar and blends workspace for Sedulo’s business advisors with a distinctive events and networking venue for the local professional community.
