As a class of 2020 Events Management graduate, finding an opportunity in the events industry was unheard of. I was over the moon to be offered a position at Downtown in November 2021
As an Event Manager, the regions I cover are Birmingham, Manchester and London. Myself and the team are responsible for our events from initial conversations, booking venues, populating guestlists to staging and running on the day. My favourite part of the role is meeting so many like minded people, gaining an insight into different businesses and industries and travelling to visit so many beautiful venues.
I knew that Downtown hosted a variety of corporate events but had no idea how much the company’s growing. My first couple months have been very exciting and extremely busy! Meeting members old and new, I’m excited to make more great connections.
