The chief executive of Newcastle City Council Pam Smith was the keynote speaker at the launch of Downtown in Business Newcastle. She was joined by the chief executive of Liverpool John Lennon Airport John Irving, who was previously the Finance Director of Newcastle United Football Club, and 50 business leaders from across the city.
