On Thursday 25th September 2025, Downtown in Business hosted our fourteenth annual City of Manchester Business Awards 2025 at the wonderful Lowry Hotel.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating the companies and entrepreneurs who continue to make a significant contribution to the economic growth of our city region. A huge thank you also goes to our headline sponsor and charity partner for the evening, Nugent, for their brilliant support.

The big winners on the night included Laing O’Rourke, who took home The Tony Award 2025 and Chris Cheap of Avison Young, who was named winner of the Chief Executive’s Award 2025. Congratulations to them, and to all of our winners and nominees, who help make Manchester such a thriving business community.
