In Conversation with Lucy Powell MP

Downtown in Business will host an exclusive event with the Shadow Leader of the House of Commons, Lucy Powell MP.

Lucy Powell is the Labour (Co-op) MP for Manchester Central, who currently undertakes the role of Shadow Leader of the House of Commons for Digital, Culture, Media and Sports. Lucy was elected in a by-in election on November 15^th 2012, becoming the first female Labour MP to represent a Manchester constituency, and has campaigned on a range of issues through her time in Parliament, including on the cladding and building safety crisis, leasehold issues, and landlord licensing.

DIB Group chairman and chief executive Frank McKenna will talk to Lucy about the importance of culture to placemaking, regeneration, and levelling-up.
