Leaders Lunch with Steve Purdham
Downtown in Business will host an exclusive lunch event on the 22nd October 2025 with Steve Purdham, Chair of Westfield Health and Chair of the Cheshire & Warrington Business Advisory Board
Originally from the North East and now based in Congleton, Steve Purdham brings decades of entrepreneurial experience and a track record of success. He is best known for founding SurfControl, a cybersecurity firm that grew into a FTSE 250 company, and for co-founding the music streaming platform We7 alongside musician Peter Gabriel.
More recently, he has focused on elder-care technology through ventures such as 3Rings and Assistage. As Chair of the Business Advisory Board for Cheshire and Warrington, Steve plays a key role in driving regional economic development, blending innovation with social impact.
His achievements have earned him numerous accolades, including IOD Cheshire Director of the Year, IOD NW Director of the Year, and CEO of the Year, as well as an honorary doctorate from Teesside University.
