An informative afternoon with experts talking on all aspects of trade.

This event by European Movement Merseyside will start with Europe, specifically Germany in the 1930s and how democracy broke down, quickly moving on to the resurrection of the continent with a new European vision.

How is British prosperity tied up with Europe? The effect Brexit will have on all sectors of society, industry and trade.

Looking to markets such as China, beyond the EU.

A tightly packed afternoon with time to network with all guests and organisers, in a beautiful relaxing setting with lots of good company.

Opening by Lord Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Christine Banks, with Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson to make a speech during the afternoon.

 

The event will be split into three headings:

  • The Downfall of Democracy and the Resurrection of Europe
  • What has Europe done for us: the reasons to remain
  • Trade within Europe and beyond: the Global Future?

Each Panel will have a chairperson and talks will be approximately 10mins followed by Q&A session.

Professor Frank McDonough LJMU & internationally renowned expert on the Third Reich.
