Joanne joins the independent publisher from Burnley based Peter Scott Printers where she was managing director.
She has worked closely with the Lancashire Business View team for more than 15 years. Peter Scott is printer of the magazine and long-time sponsor of its Red Rose Awards.
Joanne, who began her career more than 27 years ago as an office junior at the printer, has also been a regular Red Rose judge.
She will now play a key role in a number of Lancashire Business View initiatives to develop and grow its commercial offering to the county’s business community, in-print, online and through a range of other channels including an extensive corporate events programme.
Lancashire Business View publisher Richard Slater said: “Joanne brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organisation through the range of roles she has had during her career.
“She also has extensive business contacts and relationships across the county, which she has built and nurtured over almost three decades.
“These are exciting times for us as we look to further develop our role supporting and championing Lancashire’s business community and Joanne’s appointment is a key part of our strategy.”
Joanne said: “I’m looking forward to the new challenge and playing my part in the future success of Lancashire Business View as it continues on its mission to connect the county and to be the independent champion of its business community.
“I’ve had a strong working relationship with Richard and commercial director Stephen Bolton over the years and it is great to be part of a business that is really striving to make a positive difference in all it does.”
