Due to the current Lockdown situation, Livercool 20 has been forced to change the date and venue of the event.

The celebration of the city’s entrepreneurs and business leaders will now take place on the afternoon of Thursday 10th December at ACC Liverpool.

DIB’s Head of Events for Liverpool Heather Thornton explained:

“We are obviously disappointed that we are unable to host a gala awards evening in the usual way. However, we are determined to do ‘Livercool’ as a Live event if we possibly can. We did consider doing a ‘virtual’ awards presentation, but in the end, we decided that there is no way to replicate the unique atmosphere of a Downtown awards event online. Moving the awards to a lunchtime start and using the larger ACC Liverpool venue gives us the best chance of pulling it off.

“We had initially pencilled in the 3rd December for the event but realised that if the lockdown is lifted on the 2nd, Frank McKenna will need at least a week to sort his hair and make-up out.”

This years ‘Livercool’ is sponsored by the Sedulo Group.
