Liverpool city region is in the middle of a major renaissance. KQ Liverpool is already making an important contribution to that renaissance. And it is clear that innovation and knowledge will be key drivers of Liverpool’s future economic and social success.

This conference will discuss the progress made so far and how they make sure that Liverpool builds on this progress so that as many places and people as possible benefit from the development and investment that is taking place.

We will ask:

  • What are the key policy and philosophical issues in harnessing knowledge to achieve inclusive growth in our city regions?
  • What is the UK government doing to encourage the process?
  • Which city regions including Liverpool are doing what, where, with what success – nationally and internationally?
