THE FESTIVE GROUP TRANSFORMING OUTDOOR SPACES AS LOCKDOWN IS DUE TO EASE

FROM TWINKLY TERRACES, PRETTY PATIO’S OR CHARMING COURTYARD MAKEOVERS.

With only four weeks to go until hospitality venues can open up their outdoor spaces the countdown is on to make patios, terraces and gardens magical and inviting as the government roadmap leads us out of lockdown! Seasonal event and décor specialists The Festive Group have expanded their external lighting operation to make outdoor spaces magical.  This additional service has seen a  large surge in enquiries from hotels, bars and restaurants to transform external spaces as the clock ticks closer to April 12th when guests are allowed to socialise outdoors with no food requirement or curfew in place.

From festoon lighting, to feature walls, instagrammable installations, decorative and mood lighting, many operators are making sure that their outside spaces will have the WOW factor when they are allowed to reopen their venues.

No sooner had the Prime Minister announced the easing of restrictions to include outdoor socialising when The Festive phones began ringing at the Aintree based firm, famed for their large scale commercial and domestic installations, high profile event dressing and theming services.  With just one month to go until socialising outdoors is back on the agenda the design team at The Festive Group are working with clients to create appealing outdoor spaces to add warmth, comfort and fun to make them inviting and welcoming.

Head of Operations, Paul Lally said “Many operators are keen to make the most of the space they are allowed to trade and are preparing to come out of lockdown with the wow factor.   Simple lighting can transform a space into an oasis, twinkling lights add a sense of magic, whilst subtle muted tones can add a feeling of calm and relaxation.    Going through a global pandemic has encouraged many businesses to diversify and this is an exciting extension to the services we offer, having dressed many outdoor spaces for some of the countries leading leisure brands during  the festive period over many years and we are delighted by the response we have had to date.  We are discussing a whole range of options with clients at the moment from short-term hires for Terrace relaunches to permanent large scale fixed dressings .  We are able to adapt to the customers brief and budget and see this as a natural extension to our core business.  A previous client told us that the addition of sparkly lighting to their venue pre lockdown added thousands of pounds a month in revenue as the venue attracted more customers in.”

So, whilst many venues have been dark for large periods of the past year the future is definitely a bright,  sparkly and instagrammable one, for many of the regions leisure operators when the doors reopen on April 12th.

Paul continued “We have also had enquiries from some of our domestic customers who tell us that as travel restrictions are still in place, they are looking to spend more time in their gardens this summer and have asked us to give them a magical make-over.  I am delighted at the response we have had to date from this extension of our services.”.

Whether you are looking for a twinkly terrace,  a pretty patio space, or a charming courtyard makeover The Festive Group have everything to make you stand out and be memorable!
