Liverpool gets a new Rooftop Bar

McCooleys on Mathew Street / Stanley Street in the Cavern Quarter have extended the site to include a new rooftop terrace.

McCooleys on Mathew Street / Stanley Street in the Cavern Quarter has been a popular place for food and drink for lovers of sport and live music since opening in November 2017. Now just in time for summer they have extended the site to include a new rooftop terrace.

The venue which has a sister site over on the other side of town in Concert Square is a popular destination with the city’s Irish community and students alike and now from midday every weekend, while the sun is shining at least, you can enjoy a Guinness on the rooftop.

The rooftop has a capacity over around 150 and General Manager of McCooleys Shannon Gaynor said “We will be opening the rooftop of a weekend and for bank holidays for now. It’s going to be a great summer of sports with the Euros being the highlight so it’s great we have some additional outdoor space to use across the Summer months and it’s been a shock for some of our regular customers to see find out we have this new space.”
