ACC Liverpool won Best UK Conference Centre at an industry awards for the seventh time.

ACC Liverpool won Best UK Conference Centre at an industry awards for the seventh time.

The venue received the accolade at the M&IT Industry Awards, hosted by magazine Meetings and Incentive Travel.

The ceremony, held at Battersea Evolution, London, celebrates the best international venues, destinations and suppliers in the events industry, as voted for by meeting professionals.

Faye Dyer, managing director of The ACC Liverpool Group, operator of ACC Liverpool, said: “We are thrilled to have won the top accolade in the conference industry for a seventh time, particularly following such an unprecedented and challenging time.

“This is voted for by our clients and the fact that they have once again recognised our venue and team as gold standard is a remarkable achievement and a magnificent boost to us all.

“Over the past 18 months, and thanks to the versatility of our campus and our fantastic team, we were thrilled to be chosen to host the government’s first business event pilot, while also operating as a Covid testing site and a PPE and food distribution hub.

“Since the easing of restrictions, we have hosted a range of successful conferences and it has been incredible to welcome delegates back through our doors. We continue to focus on the recovery of our organisation and look forward to welcoming many more events and delegates throughout the rest of 2021.”
