Come and join the festival…
Festival season is upon us but we’re not talking about Glastonbury here – we’re talking about a festival that celebrates the importance of health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Everyone at the festival will have the opportunity to explore their own health, build on it, create action plans and also, if they’re business owners, understand how to do this for their staff, too.
Do you want to know more about how you can address the mental and physical health of your employees? Just how can you align promoting the health of your workforce whilst still staying true to your business goals?
Come along to Liverpool’s Wellbeing Festival and find out the answer to these and many more questions, so you can help yourself and your employees to be as happy and healthy as they can be. Remember that healthy people means healthy business.
The event is happening at St Paul’s Square on 30 June between 11am and 4pm and offers guests the opportunity to get involved in ways to promote good health and wellbeing in their business.
Through a combination of evidence-based medical interventions, the latest thinking in health behaviour change, digital technology and advice and wisdom from a number of key partners, the festival will showcase how your business can establish a best practice health and wellbeing strategy for its employees.
There will be yoga demonstrations and interactive workshops as well as partner stalls throughout the venue, all sharing the common goal of helping people to live their best working lifestyles.
The event is being organised by The Wellbeing Doctors, the health and wellbeing app with a difference, and partners attending on the day will include CBRE, The Liverpool BID Company, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Flare, Benno Box, A Slower Space, The Kettlebell Coach, Farm Urban, Mind Map, Yogacita, Medicash and Contact Sport.
It is our aim to redefine how we address health and wellbeing in the workplace. And there has never been a better time to do it. The pandemic has made us all look at life differently and the workplace is no exception. The physical and mental health of our employees has never been more important and having a happy workforce doesn’t just benefit employees, it makes sound business sense too.
In the UK, 149.3 million working days were lost in 2021 due to staff sickness and ill health cost the UK economy £10.6bn in 2019. So doing what we can as businesses to support our staff mentally and physically is good for all of us in the long run.
It is with this in mind that The Wellbeing Doctors is organising The Wellbeing Festival. After all, we are in work for a third of our Iives, so we might as well try and make it as healthy and rewarding as possible!
So how can we integrate more healthy options into the workplace while still staying on top of our business goals? This is where The Wellbeing Festival is on hand to help businesses reframe how they deal with the health and wellbeing of their employees.
