Do you work in the accomodation sector? Liverpool BID Company is looking for your feedback on an Accomodation BID.
An Accommodation BID removes reliance on the public purse and puts control of recovery into the hands of the sector itself. It reflects an ambition to bolster the city’s visitor economy. Along with the challenges created by the pandemic’s impact on travel, the accommodation sector is not immune to the rising cost of business, including energy, staffing costs and tax increases.
An Accommodation BID supports post-pandemic growth and long-term security for the sector. The challenges presented by post-Covid domestic and inbound recovery requires a dedicated and bespoke strategy, which takes into account the sector’s specific needs and an understanding of its marketplace and audience.

This will also act to nominate who should receive the ballot paper, as later this year we will be inviting you to vote on the new BID proposal.
