In an area known for its musical and cultural history, which attracts visitors from all over the globe, Scruffy Murphy’s, which will open daily from midday and also serve food, will feature live music every evening from 7 pm plus the hugely popular Big Band Karaoke. This will allow participants to join in with their favourite songs from Queen to Ed Sheeran and everything in between with amazing big band backing. As an added bonus, AR Leisure have invested in a full Bose sound system which has been installed by Studiocare to ensure the best possible audio experience whether customers are at Scruffy Murphy’s to enjoy the live music or to view and be immersed in their favourite sporting events. With such a busy football schedule just being announced, as well as the mid-winter World Cup in Qatar this November, this will be the ultimate venue to get involved.
Nicola Leppert, Business Development Manager for AR Leisure comments:
‘Due to the success of our sister venues, Abbey Road and Harrison’s, we decided to keep the theme of providing live music and sports as they have proven to be hugely popular with our customers. Scruffy Murphy’s will offer something slightly different with a larger stage area to showcase local music talent and we will have karaoke with a twist, as guest singers have the chance to sing along with a live band. There’s a range of retro arcade machines to give you that nostalgic feeling and a wide selection of draught and bottled beers to choose from. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our opening at the end of July.’
This flourishing group is anticipating a busy trading ahead, consolidating its already considerable portfolio and celebrating yet another anticipated success with Scruffy Murphy’s.
