The Lake House Unveils ‘The Lawn’

With spring just around the corner, The Lake House is thrilled to announce the opening of its new outdoor dining and drinking area, 'The Lawn.'

With spring just around the corner, The Lake House is thrilled to announce the opening of its new outdoor dining and drinking area, ‘The Lawn.’ Nestled against the picturesque backdrop of Marine Lake, The Lawn promises to be a perfect meeting place as the warmer months approach, officially opening Friday 15th March.

The Lawn area has had a fresh, new look designed to give guests access to a beautiful outdoor dining and drinking space. Five spacious and weatherproof huts have been added to the area, providing the perfect vantage point to soak in the views of Marine Lake. So whether it’s a pretty spot for a meal for two or a vibrant space for a gathering with friends, The Lawn has it all.

A new outside kitchen and bar has been installed at The Lawn that will serve a menu of tasty small plates, classic Italian dishes such as lasagne and primavera rigatoni as well as delicious panini’s. An outside bar will serve up coffee and tea as well as beers, wines and cocktails to enjoy in the spring sunshine.

As part of The Lawn’s offerings, visitors will also be able to enjoy live broadcasts of major events on a large screen TV. Whether it’s cheering England as they embark on winning the European Cup or the iconic moments at Wimbledon, The Lawn will ensure you won’t miss any of the action.

Conveniently located just a short walk from South Road in Waterloo, The Lake House is the ideal spot for catching up with family and friends. After scenic walks along the Crosby Coastal path or exploring Antony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’ at Crosby Beach, The Lake House provides a welcoming haven to unwind and share special moments.

“We are thrilled to introduce The Lawn as a unique outdoor dining space,” said Tyra Leeming, General Manager at The Lake House. “The Lawn looks amazing with all the work that has been done. The addition of the huts and new food and drink stations will really help us increase our offering to everyone who visits. Roll on the spring and summer!”
