Due to Covid, Roland Dransfield PR missed their 25th anniversary celebrations, so some of the team at have decided to mark our quarter century by climbing the largest freestanding mountain in the world – Kilimanjaro – for an inspirational charity – The Standing Tall Foundation – THIS OCTOBER!!
They will be doing the Tanzania challenge with Standing Tall founder and armed forces veteran, Andy Reid MBE, who set up the foundation after he lost three limbs in service in Afghanistan.
The charity’s work lies within mental health support, homelessness and drug and alcohol addiction and has helped hundreds of people in need since it was launched in 2020.
Andy is an incredible role model for many people and his story has inspired the team through our work with the personal injury team at JMW – so they decided to take on the challenge very last minute!
The medical team that supported Andy through his life-changing injuries will be making the journey to the summit with him and Roland Dransfield are honoured to be part of this trip.
“We won’t pretend that we’re not slightly terrified but given Andy’s absolute focus on getting to the top of that mountain we are right behind him!”
“Please help us to support the amazing work Andy does through The Foundation by considering sponsoring us as we mark our 25 years of Roland Dransfield.”
Given the short amount of time they have got before leaving, the team have already started fundraising by making their own contribution, so they would love it if you could help towards their target of at least £25,000.
