In June this year, we were proud to have been shortlisted for the Greater Manchester Business Awards for our approach to the service, advice, and the recommendations that we provide to our customers. We attended the awards ceremony on 2nd September where disappointingly, we didn’t quite make it to the top spot, but we were finalists and held our own against some incredible businesses.
This year, we are also winners of the top mortgage employers of the year award hosted by the mortgage introducer which is a national accreditation and to be announced formally in mid-September. Our team our certainly greatest asset and have helped us massively to achieve this. We have a very experienced bunch of brokers, many who have been in the industry for decades and have a wealth of experience when placing the customer with the right lender for their circumstances. We are so proud of our customer reviews and feel that they demonstrate our team’s commitment to help with one of the biggest financial commitments of your life.
A third award for 2022 that we are extremely proud to announce is an individual achievement by Adam Evans, who has been named as a winner amongst the top elite brokers in the UK for the residential loans settled in the 2021 calendar year; number of loans; and year-on-year growth. Adam consistently writes fantastic business levels and builds his client bank through referrals, repeat business and recommendations. We feel extremely honoured to have him on our team
Manchester Money Limited was launched in May 2018 with only a name, a vision, and a blank piece of paper. The vision was to be based in the heart of the city centre and to become a strong player in the mortgage sector within Manchester and the surrounding boroughs.
The Managing director Chris Barker has held this vison and wrote a business plan many years prior to taking the step to set up the firm but the right opportunity came from him being made redundant to start his journey to reach his goal. This led him to his dream of opening a brokerage with a headcount growth from one to 14 within 4 years.
We are a broker who isn’t tied to any specific lenders and can search the whole of market which is massively beneficial to our customers ensuring they get transparent advice.
We offer advice on any type of mortgage need and guide people from at the very start of the journey, from saving up the correct deposit amounts to receiving the funds on completion day. As we have access to all the lenders, we have many clients come to us that may not have been successful with other broker firms or may have gone directly to their bank or building society. We can look at self employed customers, people with credit file blips, bankruptcy, or customers may be looking at shared ownership or right to buy opportunities perhaps to name a few.
We have such diverse knowledge within our team therefore, we don’t specialise in any specific lending area and can help customers in nearly all circumstances.
We work remotely in the main and our customers are countywide however we have many loyal customers in the Greater Manchester area and would welcome the opportunity to network further business to business to maximise our recommendation ethos which in turn works both ways.
