£160 million Man Mills Talks Business Culture, Exit Strategies and Growth

One of the UK’s leading entrepreneurs, Mark Mills, was the keynote speaker at an exclusive breakfast event in Manchester this week.

Mills, who sold cash machine business CardPoint plc for £170million in 2007, shared his fascinating business journey with Downtown Manchester members at the outstanding Albert’s Chop House.

From discovering the idea of the cash machine idea in New York back in 1999, through to his current work advising businesses on development and exit strategies, the Blackpool born business leader gave a range of tips to the audience – with an emphasis on looking after the people who work for you.

“Business culture is crucial to growth – and in the modern environment it is important that staff are seen as part of your asset base, and HR is at the forefront of business owners thinking – not simply an add on” said Mark.

Mark Mills will be a keynote speaker at Downtown’s International Business Festival Conference in Liverpool on Wednesday 13th June. Click Here to register your place now. Places are strictly limited.
