Liverpool-headquartered architects Brock Carmichael has set up a wellbeing group internally to keep their staff healthy and happy, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The group values are Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Give, and Take Notice – this holistic approach covers all wellbeing bases to ensure mental and physical wellbeing for their staff.
The group’s initiatives have so far been virtual but post COVID their plans include Mental Health First Aider training, a running club, sporting activities, charity initiatives, planting in the office, healthy office treats, regular wellbeing communication and tips in the practice (including CPDs) and much more.
The group is supported by all 4 partners, who are all wellbeing champions and understand its importance more than ever during the pandemic. Managing Partner at Brock Carmichael Chris Bolland said: “Brock Carmichael are investors in People accredited with a focus on fostering creativity in people. The wellbeing group will ensure our staff have the support they need, both mentally and physically during the pandemic and afterwards. Investing in your staff wellbeing is essential to their happiness at work, and we are proud to be championing this initiative”.
