Downtown in Business is hosting over sixty events from September to the end of 2024 – including award dinners in Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool.
DIB chief executive and group chairman Frank McKenna said:
“We have a really ambitious programme of events right across the country for the remainder of this year.
“We will be welcoming Ministers, mayors, local authority leaders and decision makers, and successful entrepreneurs from a range of industry sectors, as we look to end the year in style.”
Highlights include a Labour conference fringe dinner with Energy Minister Miatta Fahnbulleh, a Roundtable dinner and discussion with a business minister in London in November, and an event in the capital with the government’s special adviser on mental health Luciana Berger.
In Lancashire, we will be hosting an event on Lancashire’s Cyber Opportunity and the New Government with the Plexal team – looking at the investment zone and the Cyber Security initiative that is happening in the county, whilst in Chester, Clare Hayward, Chair of the NP11, will join us for a Leaders Lunch.
