On 18th September 2025, Downtown in Business hosted a Leader’s Lunch with Emma Degg at the beautiful Stanley House Hotel & Spa.

She champions responsible business leadership as a cornerstone for the UK’s economic future and is passionate about inspiring young people to achieve their full potential.
Emma currently serves as a member of the independent House of Lords UK2070 Commission, a board member of Net Zero NW and Made Smarter NW, and as a trustee for both We Mind the Gap and Best for Britain. In recognition of her contributions to business and the community in the North West, Emma was awarded an MBE in 2024.
