How to create a wellbeing workplace culture

Downtown in Business recently hosted a special event in Manchester.

The event theme was structured around how businesses can seamlessly formulate a strategy to champion a workplace wellbeing culture.

“Curbing absenteeism, presenteeism while increasing productivity are all challenges every business faces, the research is clear on how employee wellbeing can play a key component in doing so” according to lead consultant from Health@work Declan Doyle.

Discussions evolved around common challenges in todays society including workplace mental health issues and what organisations can do to implement a “prevention better than cure” strategy including bench marking themselves by completing the workplace wellbeing charter self assessment online over at www.wellbeingcharter.org.uk/wwc_app/

It was great to see businesses from multiple sectors represented including tech, construction and law. All of which agreed that workplace wellbeing is no longer a nice to have but a must in order for future growth.
