Downtown in Business Director Chris McKenna is running the Liverpool Half Marathon to raise funds for R Charity, the Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Charity who are doing all that they can to raise money to support their incredibly hard working teams, their patients and families.
Just this year they have raised money to purchase an ultrasound machine for their breast patients, a FEES machine to help their speech and language therapists determine how well patients can swallow following their stroke in a safe and comfortable way and a mammography positioning chair to seat breast screening patients when they cannot stand for their mammography.
