The chief executive of Downtown in Business Frank McKenna will chair the launch of the Manchester Economic Recovery and Investment Plan on Wednesday 25th November.

The Leader of Manchester City Council Sir Richard Leese said:

“We are keen for business to play a part in maintaining confidence in the city following the COVID-19 pandemic and in re-establishing our previous momentum as the UK’s premier growth city.

“The recovery plan for the city has been produced in a Manchester way through partnership with the private sector, public sector partners, universities, cultural organisations and other key stakeholders. It is intended as a statement of confidence in a reinvigorated future for our city. It shows a resilient city with a diverse economy and strengths in key growth sectors as well as strong existing partnerships and a track record of delivery.

“This event will provide the opportunity to hear from, and ask questions of a panel consisting of a range of key business representatives from different sectors, along with decision-makers from the council.”

The event will take place between 2.30pm-4pm on Wednesday. If you wish to register please email [email protected]
