International Law Firm Kennedys have signed up as partners to Downtown in Business’s inaugural national Property Conference that will take place at the world-renowned Belfry Hotel & Spa in the autumn of 2021.

The conference will focus on the UK’s recovery from COVID-19 lead by the property sector and will host sessions on science, innovation & health, transport & infrastructure, placemaking and PropTech and digital transformation plus much more.

Kennedys have been monitoring COVID-19 developments closely through their Coronavirus hub, advising clients on what these mean for their business and offering regular insights into areas such as insurance and claims, commercial and workplace issues, healthcare, and transport and travel. They will shortly be launching a report focusing on the impact that COVID-19 has had on the workforce in the insurance industry, and they are procuring a follow up report focusing on the future of the workplace as we begin to emerge from the crisis.

Downtown in Business Director, Chris McKenna commented ‘We are delighted to be working with the team at Kennedys to support in their delivery of objectives for 2021 and beyond. We have had a great relationship with their team in Manchester for many years now and it’s great to now have them involved on a national level’.

Amanda Hanmore, Head of Real Estate and Construction at Kennedys added ‘It is great to see Downtown in Business leading from the front with plans for 2021. We are delighted to be involved in what we are sure will be an informative day with key decision makers from across the UK discussing one of the major challenges of our times and we cannot wait to contribute’.
