Sharp new look for Sedulo Leeds

Leading provider of audio visual solutions Midshire® has completed an installation of two Sharp BIG PADs at the ultra-modern, new Leeds-based office of chartered accountancy firm Sedulo.

With a hugely successful and well-established office in central Manchester, Sedulo offers a full range of financial services and expertise, from accounting, auditing, and bookkeeping, to tax planning, payroll, and turnaround services.

The two 65” Sharp BIG PADs installed by Midshire offer immaculate crystal clear full-HD display, and the 10-point touch enables up to 4 users to brainstorm simultaneously, providing the perfect collaboration tool for meetings and presentations.

PR & Events Manager at Sedulo, Zeriozha Burt-Skeete says: “Before investing in the Sharp BIG PADs we had to get everyone huddled around a laptop, or set up clunky projectors, which we found dull and immobile.

She continues: “Staff can now manipulate spreadsheets easily like using a tablet, and Sharp Pen Software lets us annotate directly onto our work just like a pen on paper which is fantastic, they’ve changed how we work and collaborate!”

The BIG PADs formed a pivotal part of the firm’s grand unveiling at the new St Pauls Park Square site on Thursday 5th April. They featured video content in the offices chocolate filled ‘John Cadbury’ meeting space, and Bartfields chartered accountants room.

Other debuts on the opening included entrepreneurial-themed areas like the ‘Fred Perry’ table tennis suite, the ‘Bill Gates’ meeting room, and a Great Gatsby styled bar, the Ambler Club.

IT Sales Manager at Midshire, Stuart Carruthers comments: “Sedulo’s new offices are brilliant, they’re super-modern; Sharp’s BIG PADs complete the sleek look and fit in perfectly.

Stuart talks about how the devices will work during presentations: “We’ve fitted the screens with Intel Compute Sticks to provide users with the familiar Windows operating system, and the easy-to-use Freeze-Frame button allows presenters to maintain complete control over content visible at any one time.”

Midshire became a subsidiary of Sharp Electronics Europe in 2017. Sharp are a global provider of multifunction printers, IT services, and audio visual solutions.
