Silk Rd is enjoying an extra element of summer at its Beetham Plaza venue courtesy of a new outdoor terrace area.
Boasting views of Liverpool’s waterfront, the 1680 sq. ft space adds a further 70 covers to the restaurant, which has also unveiled a new menu featuring small plates and tapas style dishes influenced by flavours from Asia through to the Mediterranean.
Owner of Silk Rd Chris Williams said: “With the warmer weather set to return, there’s no better time to welcome guests into our recently refurbished outdoor seating area where they can relax and enjoy delicious food whilst looking out over spectacular views of the city’s waterfront and the infamous Liver Building.
“We’ve provided the perfect setting for our new menu too, which wholeheartedly reflects the Silk Rd concept, marrying together flavours from across three continents, by combining customer favourites with an array of new dishes.”
Silk Rd offers diners a varied consortium of dishes including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, with the menu comprising Fresh Mussels, Sticky Ribs, Halloumi Saganaki and Colombo Tamarind Curry, alongside Steamed Bao Buns with a selection of fillings such as Katsu Chicken, Soft Shell Crab or Crispy Duck to name just a few.
Owner of Silk Rd Javier Mellado said: “We are incredibly excited to share this menu with the people of Liverpool as it includes some of our favourite dishes that we have enjoyed as part of our travels and we now have the pleasure of bringing them to Merseyside.”
