Brown Turner Ross announce partnership to raise vital funds for young people with cancer

CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children and young people’s cancer charity, has been chosen by Brown Turner Ross as their charity of the year in hope to raise vital funds and awareness.
The North West-based firm, which has been practicing law for over 130 years, has been supporting good causes for many years and for the next 12 months will be supporting CLIC Sargent in the fight for young lives versus cancer.
Brown Turner Ross Director Kendra McKinney said:
“The work that CLIC Sargent does makes a real difference to young cancer patients and their families with the specialist support they give. Brown Turner Ross is proud to be working with CLIC Sargent and helping to ensure they continue to provide the life-enhancing support that people rely on to cope with cancer and its impact on their lives. As a firm, we are passionate about supporting local charities and look forward to a fruitful partnership this year with CLIC Sargent.”
Last year in the North West, CLIC Sargent supported 835 families, giving out financial grants to the value of £128,946 helping families to cope with the costs of cancer. The  Cancer Costs report from the charity found that families with a child on active treatment spend an extra £600 a month.
Stefanie Underhill, Fundraising Engagement Manager for North Wales and Merseyside at CLIC Sargent, said:
“We are absolutely delighted that Brown Turner Ross has chosen to support CLIC Sargent this year.
“When cancer strikes young lives, we fight tirelessly to limit the damage it causes beyond their health. We rely entirely on donations to fund our vital work and so we can’t thank Brown Turner Ross enough for choosing us.”
“Thanks to their support, we will be able to help even more children and young people in the North West thrive not just survive after their cancer diagnosis.”
