Segue, the national radio and audio fair, makes a welcome return to the city on 17th and 18th October.
The two-day event will be sited at Leeds College of Music and Cloth Hall Court – Well Met’s dedicated conferencing venue at Leeds Beckett University’s city campus – bringing together a host of radio, audio and big industry names.
Segue kicks off on the evening of 17th October with a free to attend networking and tutorial session at the Leeds College of Music led by PPL, the UK’s music licensing company and performance rights organization.
Events will continue at Cloth Hall Court on the following day with a range of speakers and networking opportunities. Radiocentre, the industry body for UK commercial radio, will host the opening session of the day – Tuning In – with speakers including Bauer’s Managing Director of Radio Dee Ford, Global’s Regional Creative Director Simon Forster and Founder/M.D. of Radioplayer, Michael Hill. The event will provide delegates with insights into the latest in creativity and binaural sound and an update on Radiocentre’s latest research and how advertisers can capitalise on the audio revolution.

There’s plenty of local voice talent on offer too including ‘A Rare Glimpse of Larry (Budd) & Paul (Dunphy)’ hosted by ‘Dixie’ from Heart Yorkshire. BBC Radio Leeds Sports Editor, Jonny Buchan and Tanya Arnold, BBC Sports Reporter and BBC Look North Presenter, will share everything they know about bringing sporting events to life and radio legend Janice Long will be in conversation with radio historian, David Lloyd.
