High growth print marketing firm moves to larger premises

Darwen based, print marketing company, Empine Group has relocated to a new site at the Hub on the M65 J4 services. The new unit sees Empine increase floor space 8-fold to accommodate for the growth of the company and will allow Empine to create at least two new jobs in the next 6 months.

Empine Group, founded by young entrepreneurs Jacob Knowles (24) and Anthony Taylor (26), began trading in 2016 with the aim of disrupting a heritage led print industry, by helping their clients understand how print should work with digital marketing rather than ‘print vs Digital’.

Jacob and Anthony have a rich background with Anthony boasting over 8 years of print experience working with clients such as Morrisons and Jacob a business background that has caught the eye of dragons Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis.

Jacob Knowles, Business Director at Empine said, “The move to the new unit is extremely exciting and overdue for us. The space will allow us to accommodate new staff over the coming months as well as the vastly increasing turnover of stock we have. Our current offices in The Bridge@ DACA have been fundamental in the growth of Empine, however it is time to step it up again to continue to deliver great service to our customers.”

Over the last 12 months Empine has grown to work with over 120 new clients, delivering printed marketing materials and support to ensure that clients are printing in the right places rather than just printing a lot. At just 2 years old, Empine already works with two Blue chip clients and has delivered their print to clients in France, Holland, Portugal, Spain and Dubai.

Empine Group recently joined Downtown to see them through the next stages of growth. Empine have huge ambitions to revolutionise print but to do that they need introductions to other growing businesses.

Jacob said “We decided to join Downtown in a quest to meet and collaborate with larger businesses. Downtown has already opened doors for us in Lancashire and Manchester whereby we can show the value we can add to a business’s marketing strategy.”
