The Red Rose Awards – Lancashire’s premier celebration of business excellence – are back for 2019 and they are bigger and better than ever.
Details of the much-anticipated event have been announced yesterday (Thursday 8 November 2018), with organisers Lancashire Business View unveiling new awards for the county’s vitally important leisure and hospitality sectors.
The nationally-acclaimed Red Rose Awards will also get a brand makeover and other exciting developments will be revealed on the way to the glittering prize-giving ceremony at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on Thursday, March 14.
The Red Rose Awards is bringing back all its familiar favourites – a wide range of categories to cover organisations from all industries, a sell-out ceremony with a massive party atmosphere, and a true celebration of all things Lancashire.
Headline sponsors Forbes Solicitors and Barclays have also pledged their support for another year.
The official countdown to the big night of celebration got underway at the 2019 launch event on Thursday, November 8, held at Stanley House in Mellor.
It was the first of many networking opportunities as part of the awards programme to connect judges, sponsors and potential entrants.
The event saw Stanley House showcased as venue sponsor, plus Porsche Centre Bolton displaying its latest models of the iconic car brand in the grounds of the luxury manor.
Richard Slater, organiser of the awards and publisher of Lancashire Business View, said: “The Red Rose Awards is one of the most eagerly anticipated dates in the local business calendar year after year.
“Each year our aim is to celebrate Lancashire’s finest businesses in style, and each year we hear more awe-inspiring stories than before. We look forward to once again hearing these once again and connecting all involved.”
He added: “We are committed to celebrating the best of Lancashire enterprise, so we encourage every company to consider entering, judging, sponsoring or attending on the night – and we ask that you encourage your clients, suppliers and associates to get involved too!”
Oliver Burton, CEO at Forbes Solicitors, headline sponsors of the event since its launch, said: “We’ve supported the Red Rose Awards since it launched in 2011 and are honoured to do so once again in 2019.

“The awards recognise businesses that are achieving growth and contributing to the overall success of the region, something Barclays is incredibly supportive of.
