Blue Logic to Boost Employment in Yorkshire in 2019

Leeds-based Blue Logic is kick-starting the new year with a major recruitment drive.

This follows a record 12 months for the Managed IT Services provider, which went from strength to strength during 2018.

This year, Blue Logic is on the hunt for Yorkshire’s smartest IT talent and is recruiting for a wide variety of positions including; technical IT support, marketing, sales and customer service.
The new recruits will be based at Blue Logic’s 18th Century manor house offices, a stone’s throw from Leeds City Centre.

In recent months and years, the North has carved out a reputation for being a technological powerhouse. The district has also benefited from an upsurge in employment opportunities, further solidifying the cities success. Blue Logic’s continuous recruitment will help to contribute to the rising employment opportunities in the area.

The range of roles also includes the apprenticeship scheme, the programme runs for 12 months, with each apprentice gaining qualifications in their area of expertise. They are then offered the option to undertake a further 12 months of study to reach the next level of qualification or to work full time for Blue Logic.

The apprenticeship scheme has been hugely popular, and the eagerness of youngsters to work in the technology sector is remarkable. It is this passion that continues to drive the industry forwards, and why we are seeing businesses scale up rapidly and achieving incredible success.

As well as being one of the top 100 fastest growing technology companies in the north, Blue Logic has also achieved several large client and partnership wins in recent months, increased its workforce by a third, and plans to facilitate the growth from key hires in 2019.

The company has also picked up numerous industry awards including, ‘Best Tech Place to Work 2017 and 2018”, “Top Tech 100”, “SME Employer of year” as well as achieving gold and platinum partnerships status with Microsoft and SonicWALL.

Not only is Blue Logic looking to boost employment in the area, it will also continue to educate local businesses through free-to-attend events, roundtables and talks presented by its in-house team of technology experts. 2018 saw in excess of 300 delegates attend over the 25 events. 2019 will see 26 events, which focus on Cyber Security, Sage, Business Intelligence, Tech Trends and Microsoft 365.

Blue Logic has grown its turnover to £8m and expects to drive this to £15m by 2025. Expansion will be achieved through an ongoing hunt for effective business acquisitions as well as expanding the team with key hires and continued development of internal talent.
