Lancashire Business View unveils enhanced online service for business community

Lancashire Business View - the county's premier business publisher - has today unveiled a stylish new look for its website as part of ambitious development plans.

Lancashire Business View – the county’s premier business publisher – has today unveiled a stylish new look for its website as part of ambitious development plans.

It follows the well-received redesign of its print publication late last year. And in keeping with that work, the refreshed and enhanced site also reflects its authoritative journalism and offers a contemporary, clean and easy to navigate online offering.

The online design complements the magazine and together they are the culmination of more than a year’s development work.

That work is a significant investment by the independent publisher, which represents and reports on the business community in Lancashire in print, online and at a growing programme of events.

The authoritative new-look website features an easy-to-use news service with breaking news, insightful reporting and daily in-depth coverage of the county’s business scene.

The redesign work has been carried out by Lancashire-based online media specialists Fat Media – Lancashire Business View’s digital partner.

The redesign also reflects the increasing popularity of LBV Hub – Lancashire Business View’s growing online community and the perfect platform for new and established businesses to raise their profile.

New LBV Hub benefits introduced as part of the launch include:

* The option to post unlimited news, views, advice and events
* Coverage in the main news and features section of the website
* Coverage of selected stories in the print version of Lancashire Business View
Publisher Richard Slater said: “Refreshing and developing our online presence is the latest part of our project to deliver even more for our growing army of readers, advertisers and partners in the Lancashire business community.

“It follows our magazine redesign which we unveiled last year and is very much in keeping with the aim of that work.

“We have refreshed our online offering and we hope that visitors to the site will find it is easy to read and feel inspired and informed by the content.

“Our mission is to be the number one source of business news and intelligence for Lancashire and to provide insight and valuable information in print, online and through our programme of events.”

He added: “It has been brilliant working with Fat Media on the project and we’re immensely grateful for the time and thought that has gone towards today’s launch.”

As part of the redesign work, Lancashire Business View’s popular Wednesday Weekly, which is posted directly to its 12,000 subscribers, has also been given a facelift.

John French, managing director of Fat Media, commented on the project: “The whole team have really enjoyed working collaboratively on the new Lancashire Business View site and all agree that the end result is fantastic.

“As regular readers of both the website and magazine ourselves, it’s been a pleasure to work on the project, and play a key part in the future of the publication.

“We look forward to continuing to enhance the website and launching new innovative features in the future.”

More growth plans will be unveiled by Lancashire Business View in the months ahead as it continues to grow its services.
