Yorkshire-based nail + beauty studio group, Q61, unveils bespoke OPI nail polish ‘colour runway’ as part of salon’s trend-led offerings

Q61 has unveiled the latest addition to its salon interiors in the form of in-salon ‘colour runways’.

Q61, the award-winning, Yorkshire-based nail and beauty studio group with deluxe salons in Leeds and Harrogate, has unveiled the latest addition to its salon interiors in the form of in-salon ‘colour runways’, a bespoke-design nail station featuring a selectively curated collection of colours.

The nail stations, which each feature a visual display of more than 150 seasonal nail shades chosen to reflect catwalk colour trends, is reflective of the fashion-forward focus and approach of the salon group and its salons’ inspired service menus.

The colour runways are a sleek and stylish display of nail colours that have been designed with both aesthetics and purpose in mind. The nail stations features a 1.7 metre long ‘runway’ featuring a vast collection of varying nail colours, comprising gels, lacquers and glitters, displayed in a visually accessible design to ease their clients’ colour selection process.

The colour runway takes its name primarily from its form – a ‘runway’ of colours – but also from its function. Designed especially to reflect the seasons hottest colour trends, it features a meticulously curated selection of nail shades that includes 72 gels, 72 nail lacquers, 29 glitter polishes and eight trend-inspired colours that change seasonally and in line with runway trends.

Q61 Harrogate, North Yorkshire was first to debut the brand’s unique colour runway in its recently launched nail and beauty studio in the heart of the town, while one was installed in Leeds, West Yorkshire, as part of its interior makeover earlier this year. Boasting a chic design, the colour runways fits seamlessly with the rest of the salons’ glamorous interiors and is reflective of Q61’s client-centric, fashion-focused and directional brand ethic.

Both Q61 Leeds and Harrogate have become go-to destinations with North and West Yorkshire’s fashionable clientele. The luxury nail and beauty studios boast a range of stylish in-salon features, inspired by the most exclusive salons across the globe. As well as the addition of colour runways, clients can enjoy a range of inspirational design magazines and fashionable coffee table books, as well as a feature projection wall featuring a constant stream of video footage from the latest Fashion Week catwalk shows.

Q61 co-director Helena Linsky said: “Boasting both style and substance, the colour runways in Q61 Harrogate and Leeds are a suitably stylish addition to our nail and beauty studios, while being the perfect manifestation of our brand ethos. While its primary function is to assist both our nail technicians and our clients, the essence of the colour runway is to encapsulate trends, and give our clients access to a range of fashionable nail shades that will change seasonally. The colour runway hints at Q61’s fashionable DNA and demonstrates to our clients that Q61 is a trend-led salon with a modern approach to beauty and an unwavering commitment to style.”
