Launch of the Merseyside Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme

As part of the Liverpool City Region's commitment to tackle domestic abuse, the Police and Crime Commissioner and Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram are launching the Merseyside Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme.

As part of the Liverpool City Region’s commitment to tackle domestic abuse, the Police and Crime Commissioner and Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram are launching the Merseyside Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme.

The aim of the scheme is to provide a safe space where staff affected by domestic abuse can talk confidentially, via a netowrk of Domestic Abuse Champions, and to equip employers with the tolls o better respond.

There are numerous benefits for employers including increased productivity and an improvement in staff welfare and morale. Employers have a unique oppotunity to support staff at a time when they need it most.

The launch event is being held on Thursday 11th April 2019, 11am – 1pm in No 1 Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP.
