UVB continues to grow from strength to strength as a leading conference and events venue in Birmingham, leading to some exciting appointments within the Sales and Events Sales Team:
Tia Narwal joined UVB 7 months ago as Sales Coordinator and has just been promoted to Sales Executive. On her promotion, Tia commented: “I was really excited to be given the opportunity to join UVB and grow my own experience as the company continues to flourish. Now with my promotions, I am positively looking forward to further developing the company’s offering and taking on new and exhilarating challenges for a truly unique venue delivery.”
As Tia gains promotion, her previous role as Sales Coordinator is filled by Ashleigh McKenzie who brings several years of hospitality experience to the team having previously worked for Jurys Inn and Hallmark Hotel in Birmingham. On her appointment, Ashleigh said: “I have learned so much already in the position. Coordinating events for the REP Theatre and Library definitely makes each day interesting; each day is different, and we are able to work with some fantastic clients who are looking for a unique and special venues.
Sarah Millington, Sales Manager for UVB and who heads up the team, and who managed the appointment commented: “It is great to see some real talent within the hospitality industry of young professionals who want to work at UVB to create fabulous events for our clients, and to deliver an exceptional customer experience. These appointments strengthen our team and will be instrumental to the development of UVB over the next 12 months.”
