Technology transformation specialist Polymorph has been announced Merseyside Innovation Award’s (MIA) first winner of 2019, for its global software product Mercury.
Since 1996, the awards have recognised and rewarded innovative companies and individuals in Merseyside who use creativity to fuel growth and profitability.
Polymorph’s Mercury software enables naval forces, countries and intelligence agencies to securely share information in real-time and has successfully protected World Food Programme vessels in delivering 1.7 million tonnes of food and reducing the number of hostages taken from 237 (2011) to zero in 2017.
Mercury’s success has also directly generated £3 million of revenue for Polymorph and allowed the company to expand and invest in the infrastructure of its local IT team.
