Set to open in the coming weeks, UCLan’s Engineering Innovation Centre (EIC) is a £35 million facility, part of a larger £50 million programme. Highlighted as a flagship investment project within the LEP economic plan, the EIC will exploit our location at the heart of one of the most important centres for manufacturing and engineering in the UK.

The Manufacturing Club will be providing an early opportunity for local businesses to tour the facility and find out what benefits it can offer them.

The EIC will provide an integrated space for teaching, research and links with industry. Bringing together staff, students and companies within the region with access to leading-edge industry standard equipment including advanced manufacturing, flight simulators, artificial intelligence capabilities and specialist electronic laboratories, providing a platform to work on live, real-world projects with Industry partners.

We shall be joined by guest speakers from UCLan, National Physical Laboratories, and AMRC, who will be sharing their expertise and knowledge on various topics, within the manufacturing sector.

Who should attend? MD’s and FD’s of manufacturing and engineering businesses.
