Where to Watch the Fifa Women’s World Cup in Birmingham

The Fifa Women’s World Cup kicks off on 7th June and England and Scotland are among the 24 teams taking part. Hosted in France, the tournament will be played in nine different venues across nine cities, with the final being held in Lyon on 7th July.

5Pint Shop

One of Birmingham’s newest Craft Beer Bar & Dining Rooms, Pint Shop Brum is situated in an old office building dating from 1860 on Bennetts Hill. With great Craft Beer, pub grub and copious amounts of Gin, Pint Shop are showing every England match with sound in a specific area of the bar depending on the size of the audience, and all other matches without sound.

4The Prince of Wales

Located on Alcester Road, Moseley, the popular Prince of Wales boasts four bars, a heated marquee and even its own tiki bar, being awarded the coveted BII (British Institute of Innkeepers) award. The Lord Clifden’s ‘sister’ pub is situated on Warstone Lane in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter and are regional runners-up in the Observer Food Awards 2013 – 2017 for best Sunday Lunch. With the UAB street-art gallery (including works from artists such as Banksy, Nick Walker, D*Face & Dolk), The Red Lion offers a range of premium and European lagers, local draft ales and special guest ales brought in every week to offer ale lovers something different. There are 7 large screens across the pub dedicated to nothing but sport, and they will be showing every match.

Important information: Families are welcome to the Clubroom between the hours of 10am – 9pm, but children are not allowed to approach the bar area or allowed in the beer garden. Located on Essex Street and with a 3-meter HD screen in the lounge plus a further 14 50” screens, Riley’s are showing every game. They also offer comfy seats, a full menu, from sharing platters to burgers and pizzas and a wide variety of drinks offers.
